Once the planning was complete, the first step was to bring in our excavation equipment and remove all the shrubs, trees, tree roots and existing paving.

• We needed to create three main levels from the excavation, so there was a lot of digging and moving soil around.
• Lots of retaining walls were needed to be able to terrace the three main levels. Poured concrete to fill trenches for rendered blockwork retaining walls, post hole excavation for thick hardwood sleepers and rock work to hold back slopes.
• Preparation for all blue line plumbing for a fully automated watering system, and conduits were placed under paving slabs for garden lighting.
• Built a large multi-level deck and pergola. The top level was for dining and then down the natural stone steps to the lower lounge deck, made for late nights in winter with a custom-built steel fireplace.
• Once concrete slab was poured, we brought in new blended soil to raise the garden bed areas.
• Custom-built two water features with waterfalls into ponds.
• Here we used natural bluestone paving.
• The steel fabricators built and installed a custom steel chimney.
• Custom built outdoor timber benchtop and inbuilt BBQ with powder coat steel splash back, and beer fridge.
• Planting, including perimeter hedges and garden beds, large lawn, irrigation, garden lighting and the mulch to finish off.
